A Window for Everyone

Salamander BluEvolution 73

The BluEvolution 73 profile system is designed to meet the demands of affordable carpentry within the Salamander profile market. Economic efficiency and material optimisation were key considerations in developing this 73 mm deep sealing system, making it easier for window manufacturers to process and ensuring a cost-effective solution for any project.

Features

  • Construction depth: 73 mm
  • 5 large thermal insulation chambers
  • 5 mm galvanised steel reinforcement
  • Sealing system with two gaskets
  • Heat transfer coefficient of up to 1.1 W/m²K, depending on the glass used

During the development of the BluEvolution 73 system, special emphasis was placed on the stability of the profiles. The main chamber was specifically designed to accommodate the steel reinforcements, ensuring enhanced structural integrity.

As a result, the profiles exhibit high bending stiffness due to the standard reinforcements, which significantly improves profile stability. This enables the creation of large window elements, allowing manufacturers to offer customers oversized windows.

The maximum height of the window elements is determined by the width and overall surface area of the window. Large windows are subjected to considerable forces, but robust steel reinforcements ensure high bending strength, making the construction of large windows possible.

For Perfect Ambient Comfort

Salamander BluEvolution 82

The BluEvolution 82 profile system, with a construction depth of 82 mm, achieves an excellent balance between outstanding energy efficiency and cutting-edge sealing technology of the highest standard, making it particularly suitable for passive houses. Heat loss is minimised through the use of this specially optimised sash and frame structure, which features a thermally enhanced sealing frame in combination with triple insulating glazing, resulting in noticeable savings on energy bills.

Features

  • Construction depth of 82 mm
  • Six large thermal insulation chambers
  • Galvanised steel reinforcement of 1.5 or 2 mm
  • Sealing system with three gaskets
  • Heat transfer coefficient of up to 1.1 W/m²K, depending on the glass utilised

In developing the BluEvolution 82 system, particular emphasis was placed on the stability of the profiles as well as energy insulation, achieved through the inclusion of a third seal. The main chamber is designed with a correspondingly high dimension to support the steel reinforcements, and the middle gasket enhances thermal insulation.

The outcome is a significantly high bending stiffness of standard reinforcements, which is an added advantage for profile stability. This eliminates barriers to the creation of large-sized elements, enabling window manufacturers to offer customers larger windows.

The maximum height of window elements is determined by the width of the window and the resultant total area. In the case of large windows, these elements are subjected to substantial forces. Stable steel reinforcements ensure high bending strength, facilitating the construction of large windows.

The Best Performing Window

Salamander BluEvolution 92

The BluEvolution 92 profile system combines cutting-edge technology with a modern and functional design, creating a new generation of premium windows. The optimised structure, featuring six chambers and a construction depth of 92 mm with a reduced visible width of only 118 mm, ensures excellent thermal protection and optimal energy efficiency.

Features

  • Construction depth of 92 mm
  • Six large thermal insulation chambers – profiles manufactured exclusively in Germany
  • 2 mm galvanised steel reinforcement
  • Sealing system with three gaskets, with the third gasket made of hard plastic, in contrast to the rubber used in the BluEvolution 82 or Gealan S9000 systems
  • Thermal transfer coefficient of up to 0.65 W/m²K, depending on the glass utilised, available only in the triple-glazed version

In developing the BluEvolution 92 system, particular attention was given to the thermal transfer coefficient of the profiles. The third gasket, specific to top-quality windows and designed for passive houses, is made from hard plastic rather than rubber, as found in the majority of profiles with three gaskets. This makes it more challenging to process on standard machines, meaning that this profile should only be handled by specialised companies equipped with the latest technology.

The profile’s shape, combined with the use of this hard uPVC gasket, results in a very high bending stiffness with standard reinforcements, providing an additional advantage in terms of profile stability. Consequently, there are no longer barriers to the creation of large-sized elements, allowing window manufacturers to offer customers larger windows, even when using triple-glazed glass.

The maximum height of the elements is up to 2500 mm. This design is also well-suited for commercial showcases separated by uprights measuring 116 mm. Stable steel reinforcements ensure high bending strength, enabling the construction of large windows.
